Please read this Returns & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order. By completing checkout, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy (it will be linked on the checkout page).
Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your Chunky Yarn purchase, please contact our customer service within 15 days of receipt to initiate a return request. We strongly recommend inspecting all yarn items immediately upon delivery.
We do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Note:
• All returnable yarn must be unused, unwashed, uncut, unwound, and in original condition with original packaging and labels intact.
• Returns will be refused if the yarn shows signs of use, cutting, rewinding, knitting, crocheting, felting, washing, or odor contamination.
• Color variations caused by dye lots, lighting, or screen display differences are considered normal characteristics of yarn and are not considered defects.
• Promotional gifts included with your order do not need to be returned.
• Once your return package has been shipped back, we are unable to resend any items. Please ensure that your return package only contains items you intend to return. We are not responsible for non-MelloBello items sent to us by mistake.
Return Process
• Submit a return request: Email us at cs@mello-bello.com with your order number and reason for return.
• Return approval: We will respond within 1 business day with return confirmation and return address.
• Ship the return: After approval, please ship the yarn using a trackable shipping method. Keep the receipt and record the package weight and tracking number.
• Provide tracking details: Email the carrier name and tracking number to cs@mello-bello.com.
• Inspection: Once received, returned yarn will be inspected within 2 business days to ensure compliance with our return policy.
• Refund processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 3 business days. Actual posting time depends on your payment provider and bank.
Restocking Fee
We do not charge any restocking fees.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges for Chunky Yarn. If you need a different color, quantity, or yarn type, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
Return Shipping Charges
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping costs vary depending on location and carrier. Customers are responsible for confirming delivery status of the return package.
Refund Details
• Refunds apply only to the purchase price of the returned yarn. Original shipping fees, shipping protection, and taxes are non-refundable.
• Refunds are issued only after the returned package has been received, scanned, and approved by our warehouse. Once approved, refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 2–3 business days. A confirmation email will be sent once processed.
Damaged, Defective, or Mis-Shipped Items
MelloBello will provide a full refund (including shipping costs) for Chunky Yarn that is damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped, provided we are notified within 15 days of delivery.
We Are Not Liable for the Following:
Loss or damage to returned items during return shipping. Please retain tracking information and shipping receipts.
Damage caused by improper use, cutting, washing, felting, exposure to moisture, pets, or improper storage.
